5 course Medieval lute after Henri Arnaut de Zwolle, ca. 1450.  55 cm. mensur.  9 rib shell of curly or birdseye maple.  Carved rose based on the 15th century apse of Milan Cathedral.  Carved flower tipped bridge.  3 piece fingerboard of ebony and ironwood.  Additional small rose between the primary rose and the neck.  Heart shaped pegs of ironwood, cherry, or rosewood.  Price $2,200
